A chapter in Future Telco, 2019, pp 309-318 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Telecommunication companies face a new competitive environment with over-the-top players substituting classic communication services. The development of a digital ecosystem can be an important step to keep up with the competition by achieving a higher degree of innovation, entering new markets and improving customer experience. To do so, telecommunication companies exploit their digital expertise and play an essential role in the market by taking the position of an ecosystem orchestrator. The architecture of the ecosystem and the organizational structure are critical factors that determine the success of the digital ecosystem.
