Abstract: Summary Improvement management is not a recent movement, but is based on a long tradition. Over time, different methods such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, business reengineering or various agile methods such as Scrum have been developed and established. The focus of all these methods is the endeavour to optimally fulfil customer needs with efficient and effective processes. However, the respective approaches go far beyond the mere design of processes and change the corporate culture in the long term. Depending on the complexity of the issue, these methods can be combined in a targeted manner and used to optimise work processes.
