Chapter 1 in Storytelling in Organizations, 2018, pp 1-6 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter it will be explained why “storytelling” attracts so much attention at the moment when it comes to contexts like knowledge management, organizational culture, change and project management. Storytelling seems to fulfill a longing for a more humane and emotional side in an increasingly rational and technical world. The chapter also gives first examples of practical experiences with the use of the storytelling method. These will be elaborated on further in the book.
