Chapter 7 in Production Control Systems, 2016, pp 99-101 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this book, three pull production control systems, Kanban, CONWIP, and Base-stock, were analyzed, and the results of performance comparisons were presented in both serial production lines and assembly production processes. This chapter summarizes the comparison results, presents the conclusions drawn from the analyses, and outlines some suggestions for future studies in the field.
