Chapter 11 in Business Model Design Compass, 2017, pp 163-177 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter looks into the relationships among open innovation (OI), entrepreneurship, and the introduction of new business models (BMs) based on case studies of information technology firms at Daegu and Seoul in Korea and in Indonesia. Subsequently, this chapter will develop a perspective on the relationship between open innovation and business model even when they are not generated in the two different contexts of different regional innovation systems (RISs) and different national innovation systems (NISs).
