Chapter Chapter 11 in People Analytics, 2022, pp 175-189 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract HR teams are being pushed to become more metric driven, focused on business outcomes. There is a need to balance both the “lead” and “lag” indicators and to leverage relevant measurement systems with a view to analysing “real”, “large” and “big” data to drive key business deliverables. It is important to stay relevant in making the right choices in metrics/measures and focusing on the critical few that drive business outcomes as opposed to the trivial many that distract and do not link up with key organizational deliverables. The linkages and integration between people data and business data on the back of these models and technologies raise the bar on more effective and timely decision-making.
