Abstract:
Abstract The focus of this chapter is to introduce the need to be self-aware and know about one’s values and personality and how they can impact project performance. This chapter discusses popular frameworks and model to identify one’s personality using the Big Five and Type A and B frameworks. This chapter will also discuss a range of personal project management skills: (a) control orientation-accountability-locus of control, (b) resilience, (c) risk taking, (d) managing under ambiguity, (e) managing time (work life balance; mindfulness; propriety setting).
