Chapter Chapter 9 in Managing People in Projects for High Performance, 2023, pp 103-120 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter will enable project managers and project teams to appreciate how project culture could contribute to project success and performance. Aspects of culture that will be examined are at national, organizational, and project levels. Some questions that will be addressed are: How do project managers establish values, routines, and practices so that a project embraces the right performance culture? How can project managers develop cultural intelligence to work effectively across cultures that affect a project’s context (nature, location, and demographics of people working in it)?
