Abstract: Abstract Given the prevalence and dominance of platforms in the society today, it is imperative that we also appreciate the societal impact of platforms, including challenges in managing, governing, and regulating platforms. At the end of this chapter, you would be able to analyse certain platforms that operate in contestable markets, as well as how platform firms engage in multi-point competition.
