Abstract: Abstract Health Care Delivery is the process in charge of providing a certain health service addressing different questions (equity, rising cost, ...) in such a way to find a balance between service quality for patients and efficiency for health care providers. The intrinsic uncertainty and the dynamic nature of the processes in health care delivery are among the most challenging issues to deal with. This paper illustrates how online optimization could be a suitable methodology to address such challenges.
