Abstract: Abstract This paper presents the core methodological framework of the research project titled “Bridging Sustainable Tourism and Agrofood: An Innovative Approach—BRIDGE.” The Recovery and Resilience Fund funds the project under the Action “Support to Basic and Applied Research” and the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation—ELIDEK. It is implemented through a collaboration between Harokopio University, the University of the Aegean, and the University of West Attica. BRIDGE is an integrated digital platform designed to promote certified, high-quality, and export-oriented products and services. The project adopts a dual focus, combining applied implementation with theoretical inquiry. On a practical level, the platform aims to function as a dynamic, algorithm-driven tool for the systematic recording, classification, and digital promotion of innovative Greek agriproducts and services. On a theoretical level, it explores two principal research axes: (a) the nature and extent of the interconnections between the Tourism and Agrofood sectors within the Greek economic and institutional landscape, and (b) the role of digital infrastructures and content in mediating relationships between producers and diverse consumer segments, while simultaneously contributing to national branding strategies. BRIDGE supports sustainable development and circular economy principles by encouraging coordinated action among stakeholders, improving information accessibility, and enhancing Greece’s international image.
