A chapter in Smart Services Summit, 2021, pp 95-104 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The paper sheds light on the interplay between the adoption of digital platforms for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the servitization of manufacturing companies. Through the analysis of three cases that have been deployed with a commercial AI platform to provide advanced services such as health monitoring and predictive maintenance to industrial equipment and infrastructures, we conjecture about how manufacturing companies could benefit from the adoption of this kind of platform in their servitization journey.
