Abstract:
Abstract The article provides a comprehensive assessment of the current state of competition in the wholesale electricity market in Russia, analyzes various aspects of the wholesale market: the presence of entry and exit barriers, the level of government influence on the market, the degree of consumer participation. Each aspect is explored using a series of indicators. Proposals have been formulated to overcome barriers to the development of competitive relations in the wholesale electricity market.
