Chapter Chapter 4 in Science Mapping of Digital Transformation in Business, 2023, pp 23-40 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter presents the science mapping analysis that highlights the structural and dynamic organization of knowledge in the field of research under investigation (Iwami et al., Scientometrics 122:3–21, 2020)). The results of this analysis provide a comprehensive and comparative picture of the past, present, and future of the research field related to digital transformation in business. In developing the science mapping analysis, the innovative comparative approach to bibliometrics proposed by Caputo et al. (J Bus Res., 123:489–501, 2021) was adopted. This approach proposes an integration into a comparative analysis of the results of various bibliometric indicators, namely citation analysis, co-citation analysis, bibliographic coupling, and the co-occurrence of keywords.
