Abstract:
Abstract This chapter examines the meta-profession of research from the perspective of the administrative staff of an academic institution. This role is usually called a lab manager or a chief engineer/scientists and is usually carried out by a scientist or an engineer, whose role is to be in charge of the ongoing work that takes place in the lab.
