Chapter Chapter 8 in Knowledge Technology, 2021, pp 111-120 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This final chapter reaffirms the definition of knowledge technology and reviews guidelines and goals of carrying out the process from data collection to value creation. In addition, it looks back on the challenges of knowledge technology development discussed in Chaps. 4 – 7 , which correspond to the four sub-processes of the value creation spiral. Then, it considers developing knowledge technology by the fusion of systems thinking and knowledge management, effective use of big data, and collaboration with artificial intelligence. As a symbolic example, the chapter calls for establishing knowledge systems engineering aimed at developing knowledge systems. Finally, it concludes this book with an idea on how to integrate systems thinking and knowledge management.
