Chapter Chapter 6 in Two-Tier Stochastic Frontier Analysis for the Social Sciences, 2025, pp 125-141 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter includes the empirical applications of two different binary response 2TSF models. The first one delves in personal matters, and we use it to estimate the desire for variety as a latent force toward extramarital affairs. The second examines treatments that have opposing treatment effects, and how these can be separately estimated by the 2TSF approach. This is applied to data related to hospital readmissions.
