Abstract This chapter will discuss the role and significance of Nation and Place Branding in today's globalized world. Readers will gain an understanding of the connection between Nation and Place Branding and economic development by addressing the concepts of foreign direct investment (FDI), talent attraction, export, tourism, and prominence. The chapter will also look at what makes people willing to buy from, visit, invest, or live in a place. Additionally, it will consider how Nation and Place Branding contributes to developing pride of place and sense of belonging.
