Abstract:
Abstract In Lesson 5, the critical role of distribution in accessing the market is emphasised, along with the contemporary challenges it faces. First, a distinction is made between distributing virtual and physical products. Then, the components of the supply chain are outlined, and the functions of each component are explained in detail. Furthermore, the differentiation between direct and indirect channels is discussed, along with descriptions of various alternatives for intermediaries, such as wholesalers, retailers, brokers, franchisees, and electronic channels.
