Chapter Chapter 12 in Understanding Speed in Organizational Change, 2026, pp 193-206 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter focuses on the velocity of change within a change process in relation to strategizing competence supply. In this chapter, we explore the dynamics of speed and change through the development and integration of a Competence Supply Plan in the Greater Gothenburg area. Initially created in response to an unusual high influx of refugees, this plan underwent significant transformation and, within two years, was incorporated into the Gothenburg Region’s strategic business program. However, this transition did not only reshape the duration and objectives but also altered its trajectory redefining the plan’s original purpose.
