Abstract:
Abstract The content presented in this monograph is aimed at proving the following hypotheses put forward by the authors: Hypothesis 1: The technological revolutionRevolution strengthens the fight against climate change through environmental action. Hypothesis 2: The functions of digital business modelsbusiness models influence the fight against climate change. Testing both of these hypotheses, through analytical studies, literature studies and syntheses included in individual chapters, led to the conclusion that both hypotheses are falsifiable. The technological revolutionRevolution significantly affects the creation of solutions to neutralize climate change, which is noted by the growing budgets of the European Union, international organizations, states, regions and enterprises for this purpose. At the company level, the trend of implementing new and innovative strategies is clearly marked, as well as shaping digital business modelsbusiness models to fit through their functions to create positive changes in the face of worrying climate anomalies. The world of a growing economyEconomy must be based on climate-smartsmart technologies. Strategies to date for the use of natural resources adversely affecting indicators determining adverse climate change are slowly shifting to a role supporting modern technologies of energy production.
