Abstract: Abstract Gabriele Kaiser and people at East China Normal University have strong connections. She has made a significant contribution to the preparation and organisation for the 14th International Congress and Mathematics Education held by ECNU. Moreover,Gabriele also contributes to the development of young researchers in mathematics education at ECNU and to the construction of students’ exchange programme between East China Normal University and University of Hamburg. We look forward to many more years of friendship and collaboration with Gabriele.
