Chapter Chapter 1 in Practical Handbook Business in Africa, 2023, pp 1-6 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Africa! The popular image of Africa is still dominated by hunger, poverty, and war or by folklore and romantic notions, especially in the media. New technologies, economic development, and a middle class that is quite stable despite the pandemic still play no major role in this view. Africa is seen as a dark, lost continent without hope.
