Abstract: Abstract We see it in politics. We see it in the workplace. We see it in private life. The battle of the generations. For years, experts and publications have been warning of an impending generational conflict. But this is not just looming, it has already begun: The young demand change and cry out for world improvement. The old rely on experiences and insist on the tried and true. What they all have in common: They show little understanding for the other generations and seek conflict. However, demographic change, the upheavals in our working world, and also the impending societal changes require an exchange between the generations. The solution: generational management, because currently at least four different generations are in the working world. How exactly companies can use this management for themselves and what positive effects it has on society, you will learn in this article.
