Outlook: The Future of the Church—A New Departure into Community
Oliver Errichiello ()
Chapter Chapter 12 in The Church as a Brand, 2026, pp 125-133 from Springer
Abstract:
AbstractDwindling revenues in many Western dioceses, a dramatic shortage of clergy, and the painful reality that parish churches must be merged or even abandoned altogether. All of this, at best, discourages many, while others are left angry. Yet from a brand sociology perspective, times of change are not the end, but rather the beginning of a contemporary and powerfully preservative form of church life.
