Chapter Chapter 7 in Speaking Management, 2021, pp 73-93 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This Chapter applies the realisations in Chap. 6 to resolve several philosophical problems. It identifies the flaws in Wittgenstein’s Family Resemblance Concept and reconciles the famous disagreement between Popper and Wittgenstein. It gives a full analysis of Popper’s philosophy relative to the traps identified in Chap. 6 , considering dairrhesis/definition, empiricism/rationalism and nominalism/essentialism. It then goes on to consider the philosophy of Derrida, identifing its difficulties in relation to the 10 traps.
