Abstract:
Abstract Equipment possessing own effective ignition sources intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres are regulated by ATEX Equipment directive 2014/34, which means that the equipment must be CE- and Ex-marked according to the outcome of the Ignition hazard assessment (and be accompanied by an ATEX Equipment directive 2014/34 conformity declaration)—see Chap. 16 .
