Abstract:
Municipalities play a central role in delivering SDGs at the local level. This article explores possible configurations of technical and political variables that can enable or hinder the integration of SDGs into strategizing. In doing so, this research offers a roadmap providing insights into the specific combinations of enabling and implementation conditions that can prove crucial for successful sustainability-related planning and action within local governments.
