Abstract: What is personality? The answer to this question is difficult to formulate because there is no clear definition. In psychology it is defined as the sum of all emotional, cognitive and behavioral traits, unique to each individual, acquired through learning or developed through experience. Knowing the offender's personality is essential to justice. Establishing the personality type helps to discover the reason for committing the crime, anticipating future actions, and individualizing the punishment. An offender who deliberately carries out an act of criminal law the result of which is foreseen, pursued or accepted and which presents a certain degree of social danger, may be grouped according to the criterion of the crime committed as a criminal, a violator, a thief, a thief, and so on Behavior begins from childhood or adolescence, manifested in family, school, profession, military or marriage. These personalities act without regard to consequences, having as their prime stimulus the immediate desire.
