The economic space of Russia: problems and trends

Abstract: The paper considers the essence of the definition "economic space", its basic characteristics and properties. From the point of view of the regional economy the modern structure of the economic space of the Russian Federation is examined. The scientific problem of finding out the new territorial economic formations with vague, not clearly cut administrative borders studied in the framework of scientific trend "space economy" is posed.
