Wage’s functions: theoretical aspect and the method of estimation

Abstract: This paper deals with the theoretical analysis of the problem of quantity and structure of wage functions. The functions revealing the essence of wage as an economic category are discovered and substantiated. An analysis referred to wage function implementation in the Sverdlovsk region according to the state statistics data for 2000-2008 was accomplished.
