Abstract: The notice in the article is taken of the problem of differentiation of urban and rural population reproducing level in Russian regions on the basis of using of total fertility rate (TFR), gross reproduction rate (R), net reproduction rate (Ro). Classification of regions of Russian Federation into 4 clusters according to their natural increase rate (relatively high (or positive), low negative, alarming, disastrous) is made.
