Conditions and factors of structural modernization of a regional industrial system

Abstract: This paper suggests the concept of a «new industrial system»; a special features analysis of industry subjects' structure in Russian Federation within the Ural Federal District is done. Peculiarities of industrial policy in a cyclically developing economy are reviewed. Prerequisites for modernization of the industrial system and the necessary conditions for its implementation are disclosed.
