Abstract: Results of singling-out regions of the Russian Federation using two criteria of self-developing gross domestic product and financial balance are considered in this paper. Classification of regions of the Russian Federation based on type of economy development on the basis of calculation is made and self-developing regions are classified by the type of economy advance.
