Abstract:
In this work we present the entropy functionals for dense gases that results from a maximum entropy procedure, for two levels of description. In analogy to this work, we review the case of dense mixtures. The resulting entropy functionals serve as a starting point to derive in a systematic manner, Fokker–Planck equations to model interacting Brownian particles.
