Abstract:
AbstractMultiple resources concerning health and medical information are disposable through the Internet. Because of the severity that usage of information retrieved from that kind of web sites can cause to public health, it is crucial to develop skills that help making the right choice of resources that will be used. This paper, proposes certain criteria that would be preferable to be used in evaluating and assessing medical and health oriented sites, as well as presenting The Health on the Net Foundation that "has elaborated the Code of Conduct to help standardize the reliability of medical and health information available on the World-Wide Web".
