Chapter 31 in Internet Finance and Digital Economy:Advances in Digital Economy and Data Analysis Technology, 2023, pp 433-441 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.

Abstract: Correctly clarifying the relationship between tourism science and technology innovation, industrial upgrading and economic growth is the core issue facing China’s tourism supply-side reform and high-quality development. On the basis of combing the existing literature, in order to further explore the interaction mechanism among the three, this paper puts forward the general idea of incorporating the three into the unified framework and uses the panel data of 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in China from 2008 to 2017 to construct a panel simultaneous equation model to test the relationship between tourism science and technology innovation, industrial upgrading and economic growth.
