Abstract: The chapter refers to general aspects of e-learning processes with focus on the higher education's characteristics. Several models for evaluation of the quality of the e-learning processes are analyzed. As a result of the analysis, a new conceptual model is defined, taking into consideration the characteristics of both learning and teaching processes.
