Spanyolul tanul a magyar mangalica!

Abstract: A sonkákat gyártó spanyol vállalat felismerte a mangalicában rejlő lehetőséget, azt, hogy a mangalica zsiradékkal finoman átszőtt húsának összetétele nagymértékben hasonlít annak az ibérico sertésfajtának a húsához, amiből a termékeiket gyártják. A spanyolok felvásárolták az állatok számukra értékes részeit, s hazánkban egyre többen fogtak ismét a mangalica tartásába. Az 1990-es évek második felétől kezdve a mangalica reneszánszát éli. Egyre több hazai húsüzem kezdett ismét mangalicát feldolgozni, önálló mangalica termékcsaládokkal megjelenve a piacokon. A mangalicák törzskönyvezését az újra megalakult Mangalicatenyésztők Országos Egyesülete végzi, s csak az a sertés nevezhető mangalicának, amelyről az egyesület igazolást ad. --------------------------------------- A Spanish company producing ham realised the opportunities offered by mangalice swine: the composition of mangalica meat, finely veined with fat, is very similar to that of the ibérico breed they produce their products from. The Spanish company purchased the animal parts they found valuable, and more and more farmers started to raise mangalica again. The renaissance of mangalica started in the second half of the 1990-ies. More and more Hungarian meat factories started to process mangalica meat and released mangalica food product families. The registration of mangalica pigs is done by the re-established National Association of Mangalica Breeders. A pig needs to have a confirmation of the association to be called a mangalica.
