Abstract:
Businesses are facing the challenge of digital disruption and the transformation of digital technology into a business advantage. Consumers’ relationship and involvement within the accelerated digital transformation are significant aspects to be considered. Modeling the future of e-commerce by the accelerated digital transformation, as well as technological trends, e-commerce and metaverse, iCommerce as an extension of metaverse-driven e-commerce, are current preoccupations in context. There is no doubt about the need of a better understanding of digital transformation and evolutions in e-commerce globally, and in Romania.
