Abstract: A cikk a romániai úgynevezett tömeges privatizációs program (tpp) helyét elemzi a román privatizáció folyamatában és hatását a romániai vállalatokra. Csak kevés információt tettek nyilvánossá a program eredményeiről. Becslések szerint a tömeges privatizáció keretében az állami tulajdonnak csak 5,5 százaléka került magánkézbe, s erősen szétszórt tulajdonszerkezet alakult ki. A szerzők bemutatják a román privatizáció történetét 1990 óta, összehasonlítják a tpp-t más tömeges privatizációs programokkal, és elemzik a tpp hatását a vállalatvezetés struktúrájára és átszervezésére.
