Endogeneity between internationalization and knowledge creation of global R&D leader firms: an econometric approach using Scoreboard data

Abstract: This article focuses on endogeneity between technological change and orientation toward foreign markets of the Global R&D leader (RDL) firms. Building on our econometric results, we develop an idiosyncratic Demand Pull and Technology Push operational mode of the RDL firms. In this framework, the role of Localized Technological Change is highlighted as it is depicted on the efficient allocation of the resources devoted to the knowledge creation process.
