Statistical and Econometric Analysis of the Correlations Between Migration and the Main Macro-aggregates in EU

Abstract: The paper analyzes the existing interdependencies between the migration phenomenon and the main macroeconomic indicators that characterize the EU economy (net income, unemployment rate and life expectancy) during 2008-2015. The EU, but not only face a substantial migration increase. As method, was used regression and principal component analysis using SPSS software. The results show that the migration is strongly influenced by unemployment rate, level of education, net income and life expectancy.
