Belgian Football

Stefan Kesenne

Journal of Sports Economics, 2007, vol. 8, issue 6, 670-674

Abstract: In this short note, the author takes a critical look at the causes and cures that have been presented in a previous issue of this journal by Dejonghe and Vandeweghe, regarding the financial problems and performances of Belgian football. He also indicates a few errors against basic economic theory in their contribution.
