Abstract:
A relevant topic of the economic literature is the geographical mobility of workers within countries. The study of this topic for the Spanish case and foreigner population is interesting, because Spain is one of the European countries where immigration flows have increased most noticeably for the last years. This paper studies the determinants of interprovincial geographical mobility of immigrants in Spain and, in particular, if the expected wage gain exerts a positive influence on the interprovincial mobility.
