Abstract:
Abstract The development and commercialization of new technologies— technological innovation—creates broad social benefits. Over time, it allows us collectively to live longer, healthier lives, to increase our incomes, and to consume a broader array of goods and services. Innovation enables us to live differently from our grandparents. Thus, it is in our collective interests to create social, cultural and legal institutions that foster technological innovation.
