Abstract:
Abstract Public sector organizations have many stakeholders to whom they must report performance: from central Government to regulators to local community groups. As financial resources dwindle over the upcoming years stakeholders will likely more thoroughly scrutinize such reports to ensure that money is not being wasted — and, as we have stressed throughout this book, that service standards remain intact.
