Abstract: Abstract China | Dr. Hong Fan is the director of the National Image Research Center (NIRC) at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. She is a professor at the School of Journalism and Communication, and the EMBA Program at the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua. Hong obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Oxford. She has served as a diplomat at the Chinese Embassy of New Zealand and worked in Switzerland and the USA. Her research areas include reputation studies, corporate communication, national image, and city branding.
