Abstract: Abstract Spain | Juan Carlos Belloso is an international expert on the positioning, development, and promotion of places and destinations, based in Barcelona. Having worked many years as advisor to the city of Barcelona, Juan Carlos has provided advisory services to place-related organizations worldwide. He is one of the founders of the International Place Branding Association (IPBA) and participates in different initiatives, forums, and programs developed by or with the support of organizations including the EU, the UN, the World Bank, the UNWTO, or the Inter-American Development Bank.
