Chapter 1 in Human Resources Information Systems, 2021, pp 1-18 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Data is the lifeblood of any organization; it constitutes the basis for decision-making at all levels. Inaccurate or poor data can lead to inefficiencies whether in public or private sectors (Oliveira et al., 2005). Despite its importance to an organization, access to accurate data is often not given sufficient attention in the literature. There is a dearth of studies examining the reasons for poor data in public organizations.
